On 7th May 2010 a meeting was organized between Department of Urban Development, Govt. of Bihar and consultants of Asian Development Bank on the issues of loan for the development of four districts of Bihar namely Bhagalpur, Darbhanga, Gaya and Muzaffarpur.
ADB consultant through a power point presentation shared strategies and planning for the four districts. This presentation highlighted the key issues of the districts like solid waste management, water supply, sewerage systems etc. ADB team also shared the lessons learnt from the other states where ADB projects are operational. In this meeting Deputy Mayor of Muzaffarpur city also participated and he praised Nidan good work for the development of Muzaffarpur. Mrs. Tulsayan, Mayor, Muzaffarpur, Mr.Girish Shankar, Principal Secretary, Mr. D.K Shukala, Special Secretary and Director BUDA also participated and shared their views in the meeting. |
