This project aims at developing micro-entrepreneurship of women in urban Patna who are left behind either due to a shortage of capital or skill. This project induces them with both so that they also can be made self-employed.

The recent updates in the Project are as follows.

The training of more than 100 women is being conducted and the projected goal is to make 35 women micro entrepreneurs of which 9 have already started their business. Women are an integral part of society and the project aims to make sure that they are self-sufficient and independent to run their own business. Not only it will benefit them but eventually, the process will lead to employment opportunities for others as well.

Some of the case studies of women entrepreneurs who started their ventures are as follows.

Pinky Devi is from Kamla Nehru Nagar and started her business of Patal Katori.

Sushma Devi, woman entrepreneur from Kamla Nehru Nagar started her business of spices

Poonam Devi from Kamla Nehru Nagar started her business of Tailor and Stitching Centre.

Sanju Devi from Badi Pahari Panchayat Bhawan started her business of Tailor and Stitching Centre.

Babita Devi from Badi Pahari Panchayat Bhawan started her business of Babita Stitching & Training Centre

Sulekha Devi from Bahadurpur Gumti started her business of Pickles

Rekha Devi from Shashtri Nagar started her business of Pickles

Seema Devi Shashtri Nagar started her business of Stitching & Training Centre

Sunena Devi from Bazar Samiti started her business of Sunena Tiffin and Mess Express
