On 7 January 2026, the Arogyashala Project organized a Newborn Baby Kit Distribution Programme at Community Health Centre (CHC) Piri, Village Piri. The initiative aimed to support new mothers and promote healthy newborn care practices.
A total of 20 newborn babies along with their mothers participated in the programme. Each beneficiary was provided with a newborn baby care kit containing essential items required for early infant care, along with a nighty for the mother and a small blanket for the baby.

In addition to the distribution, an orientation session was conducted for the mothers. They were informed about the proper use and importance of each item in the kit, hygiene practices, maternal health, and basic newborn care. The session focused on creating awareness and encouraging safe childcare practices during the critical early days after birth.
The programme was successfully completed with enthusiastic participation from the beneficiaries and valuable support from the CHC staff, contributing to improved awareness and care for newborns and mothers in the community.
