Under the Integrated Rural Development Project in Dhule district, implemented by Nidan with support from the HG Foundation, focused efforts are being made to strengthen early childhood education through Anganwadi centres.
During the recent activity, children orally recited A to Z alphabets, reinforcing basic literacy skills. To make learning engaging and experiential, letters A, B, C, and D were formed and demonstrated using stones, encouraging hands-on participation. Additionally, individual assessments were conducted, and records were maintained to prepare each child’s Bal Profile, enabling systematic tracking of learning outcomes and development.
These initiatives aim to create a strong educational foundation for young children while supporting Anganwadi teachers with structured learning and assessment practices.
