In collaboration with Nidan and LICHFL, a goat distribution programme aimed at strengthening livelihoods was organised for 20 families from Bela, Kharagbani, and Satghara villages. The initiative was undertaken to support income generation and promote sustainable livelihood opportunities for vulnerable rural households.
With support from LIC HFL and Nidan, and active participation from the local community, a soak pit was successfully installed in Muraddigaon to address long-standing waterlogging issues in the village.
Under the Integrated Rural Development Project in Madhubani, implemented by Nidan with support from LIC HFL, a goat and pushcart distribution programme was successfully conducted—the initiative aimed to support beneficiaries in building sustainable livelihoods and moving towards self-reliance.
LIC HFL and Nidan organised a nutrition camp at a primary school and Anganwadi centre in Madhubani, Bihar, to promote better nutrition and health awareness at the community level.
On the occasion of World Health Day, Nidan, in collaboration with LIC Housing Finance Limited (LIC HFL), conducted a community-based awareness programme in Pirhi and Khargabanni villages.
A one-day farmer training session was held at the Panchayat Bhawan in Madhubani, organized by the National Seeds Corporation (NSC) in collaboration with LIC Housing Finance Ltd. (LIC HFL) and Nidan.
A literacy training program has been launched in Chaurahi village, aimed at teaching basic reading, writing, and arithmetic to women above the age of 21, with a strong focus on empowerment and self-reliance.

The day was celebrated as a tribute to the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women, while reinforcing the importance of rights, equality, and collective action.
