With support from LIC HFL and Nidan, and active participation from the local community, a soak pit was successfully installed in Muraddigaon to address long-standing waterlogging issues in the village. The problem had particularly affected daily movement and created difficulties for school-going children during the rainy season.
The initiative was undertaken as part of efforts to improve sanitation and strengthen water management systems at the community level. By helping drain excess wastewater and preventing stagnant water accumulation, the soak pit is expected to contribute towards a cleaner and healthier environment for residents.
