Under the LIC HFL Hriday Project, Nidan organised a Capacity Building Training Programme for Village Development Committee (VDC) members at the Babubarhi Block Office. The programme brought together VDC members, elected representatives, and government officials to strengthen local governance, enhance community participation, and promote sustainable rural development.
Discussions focused on the roles and responsibilities of VDC members, village development planning, education, health, coordination among stakeholders, and ensuring transparency in the implementation of government schemes. The initiative aimed to empower grassroots leaders and build stronger, more resilient communities.
