Under the Integrated Rural Development Project in Dhule district, implemented by Nidan with support from the HG Foundation, focused skill-development sessions were conducted for rural women to strengthen livelihood opportunities.
Women were introduced to different types of sleeves, which were demonstrated by stitching them on paper patterns to improve design understanding and accuracy. In addition, participants were taught about various types of bags, with live demonstrations through actual sewing, enabling experiential and skill-based learning.
These hands-on training sessions aim to equip women with practical, income-generating skills and promote economic self-reliance at the community level.
