
A Gram Sabha was organised today in Harnali Panchayat, Chatra Block, with active participation from the village head, sarpanch, village development mitra, school headmaster, Anganwadi worker, ASHA worker, and community members.
During the meeting, key social, economic, and livelihood-related issues of the village were discussed. Detailed discussions were held on government schemes and entitlements, including Janani Suraksha Yojana, social security schemes, farmer welfare, ration cards, widow and old-age pensions, Ayushman cards, and the Maiya Yojana.
In addition, important local infrastructure concerns such as safe drinking water, roads, and drainage facilities were also deliberated upon to identify community priorities and solutions.
The Gram Sabha provided a vital platform for collective dialogue, awareness, and participatory decision-making, strengthening community engagement and local governance.
