Under the Chatra Integrated Rural and Community Development Project, HG Foundation, in collaboration with Nidan, supported five schools in Chatra district, Jharkhand by providing sports materials for children.
For many students, this was the first time they wore sports uniforms and played cricket, leading to visible excitement and a joyful learning environment within the schools. The initiative was warmly received by students, parents, and teachers alike. School teachers appreciated the effort and shared that this is the first time any organisation has provided such sports materials for children in their schools.
The activity highlights the project’s commitment to holistic child development by promoting physical fitness, confidence, and positive school engagement through sports.
